I stated that Gretzky’s friendship with Trump existed before his Presidency. I said nothing about him being an icon. Was I a fan of Wayne Gretzky when he was an Edmonton Oiler, absolutely. Am I a fan of Donald Trump? Certainly not. But Wayne Gretzky’s friendship with Trump is really none of my business.
