It’s unfortunate that those Democratic cities chose to harbour domestic terrorists that now need to be dealt with

Nothing peaceful about that occupation. Peaceful protesters don't infringe on other people's rights. Peaceful protesters obey police orders. Peaceful protesters don't threaten to overthrow the government.
Definitely peaceful ... yup.

Any comparison with the illegal trucker blockade and January 6th insurrection are laughable.
For one thing the blockade went on for weeks. Trump would have sent in the National guard on day 2 and violently arrested as many protestors as possible without due process if he saw them as opponents.
Lich and Barber were given a slap on the wrist for what amounts to a blockade that cost taxpayers and Ottawa tens of millions.
They illegally blocked streets and harassed residents with constant honking of truck horns after dropping their demands to overthrow the government.
Poilievre earlier said said these kinds of blockades should be met with the full force of the law!
Trump urged protestors to storm the capitol and overthrow the vote for certification. They threatened to hang Mike Pence and Nancy Pelosi.
Trump pardoned every one convicted of violence against police and security.
Only ding bats think that 3 week blockades of borders and downtown Ottawa are legal protests!
We know why the far right thinks Trump use of the military in democrat cities is okay.
You guys can't be trusted to support democracy or the rule of law!Last edited by chuckChuck; Oct 8, 2025, 07:41.
