The Conservatives are out of power in all the provinces?

      Good one A5!

And Conservatives at the federal level don't fight for lower taxes?

So yes Conservatives are part of the problem especially when you consider that social issues and housing and healthcare are primarily provincial responsibilities.
no the problem is the massive increase in immigration caused by the Liberal / NDP coalition the past ten years .
Now to blame that on conservatives not wanting to pay yet even more tax’s to cure a massive problem the those clowns created in the first place
        You know it full well

15,000,000 immigrants over the past ten years , fairly certain that’s what the number is now that the liberals have been hiding

The only fix is to pay more taxes and to blame one group.
Responding to this dumber than starting it. How's the crop?

Housing, mental health supports and addiction recovery all cost money.

Is the private sector going to pay for those? Hell no!

Provincial and Federal governments will have to work together to solve these problems.

The Sask Housing Authority has 100s of modest unoccupied low income rental units that are not in use.

Why? Because they won't spend the money needed to fix them and rent them out.

Do you ever wonder why modest low income rental units would require so much fixing to make them livable?

Do you suppose there might be any connection between the type of people who want government subsidized housing and their motivation to look after it and treat it respectfully?

Have you ever looked at the state of the taxpayer funded housing on your local reserve?

Do you think any amount of taxpayer dollars could ever be enough to provide and maintain housing for people who are entirely disconnected from the cost of the damage they cause?

In rural Saskatchewan it's mostly seniors using low income housing. Are you saying seniors don't take care of their housing?

Even a well cared for house needs repairs Absurd 5!

How do you know what the state of public housing is all across Canada?

And there is a cost for governments to subsidize housing and i suspect most provincial governments don't want to subsidize more units. So it is probably a matter of policy and priorities.

Costs about $6k to do a meth clean up when charging tenants in low income housing.

Prince Albert used to have 1 contractor doing that work.
Last spring they had 13 contractors that keep busy doing that work.

                  Are those seniors on meth?

In town I drive by some social housing often.

About 12 units probably built in the 70's but very well maintained.
Have to slow down there because always lot of young kids on the street.

Recently I see 2 of the 12 with plywood over the windows.
                  Never seen that before.

                  The world is changing.
And more free stuff is still the answer to making things better.

Why do they need so many contractors do $6K cleanup if your info is accurate?
