Norway is 1/10 the size of Canada with relatively short distances and a far warmer winter climate in general . So no surprise there .

Been off of this site for a good month and another thread started by Honeydew with half truths. From a friend in Denmark Norwegians pay next to nothing for electricity. Pay high taxes on everything but health and education fully covered. They managed their oil windfalls properly and have been more than successful properly managing a state owned oil company. Completely different attitude in that country about government involvement in the economy and delivery of services to the people. Comparatively to Canada which which was a British colony and to this day retains its colonial system albeit the kings power base is now central Canada, does not function and will not function the same way Norway Sweden or Finland does contrary to what every slack jawed lefty espouses adnauseum. Norway has given some great incentives to switch to electric as well. Good on them if it works.
