In typical Alberta fashion everyone is going to do their own thing rather than work together!

Got to double oil production in 5 years don't ya know! Even though that is an impossible feat economically or logistically. Just in time for peak oil and declining demand!

And no doubt they will also want very low royalties and subsidies from taxpayers just like the ones that made the oil sands a marginally profitable investment before.

If oil companies didn't have government support, subsidies and massive incentives the oil sands would be left in the ground!

It's the Alberta way! "Free" enterprise for the oil companies that requires taxpayers support and red tape regulations to make sure landowners have no choice.
