Guys hauling crude in Alberta used to joke if you spilled your coffee on the lease 3 vac trucks showed up and you had to pay for them.
I was driving around up near Taft Ca and it wasn't unusual to see visible spills where they had small lines laying on top of the ground .
Looked more like Nigeria than what you would expect in California.
