So you think the economic issues started under Trump?

And I agree, the budget is any thing but fiscally conservative.

    A big disappointment.

And Doge has been a disappointment. Tinkering around the edges only.

And as I suggested months ago, I doubted they would have the fortitude for the economic and political pain that would result from the long-term strategy of bringing industry back onshore. After all of the uncertainty caused by the tariffs, they caved and gave in.

In the meantime, Canada didn't even have a functioning government.

In fact upon reconsideration, and looking back at the first post of this thread, it looks like Trump has accomplished far more for Canadians than he has for Americans so far. Specifically Albertans.

tRump sure has done a good job of lowering oil prices and scaring investors away from Alberta!

Of course Absurd 5 thinks that a win!

Seems Trump thinks he is doing Canada a favour to pay for part of the Golden dome.He even says if Canada joins the USA he will not charge us.The fact is Canada has the upper hand on this as they can not build it without Canada's OK. Trump has lost all credibility and is just a joke to the world.Even Russia.Yes he still has his cult who believe other countries pay the import tarriff and groceries will go down in price .

IMHO the Golden Dome is another fantasy.
Trump thinks he is reviving Reagan's Stratigic Defence Initiative/ Star Wars.

What do you think of Trumps Manhattan 2 nuclear Initiative?
Seems to have a chance of being a thing his term will be recognized for?
They need the dispatchable power and the west has been handing China the advantage in manufacturing dominance do to cheap power sources.
China has 10 large reactors being built with a budget of $26 billion.
              Ontario is budgeting $20billion+ for 4 SMR's

                    Musk departs.
Trying to make large reductions in government waste and inefficiencies was much more difficult than anticipated.
In the end, pretty much a waste of his time.
No one actually wanted to cut out the slop.
