I wouldn't disagree with this statement.

Is asking for Trump to cut the rhetoric too much?

Nothing but a f-n bully anyway.

Just once Chuck could put his own vision down for all to see.
The EU carries little weight outside Upper/Lower Canada and its Loyalist colonies to the East.
Half of this Nation literally on the other side of the planet.
Our military wouldn't last half a day over there. Spain going to contribute to NORAD?
Eastern Canada has been allowed to ignore our geography aided by our Westminster system for so long they have no clue outside their own borders.
20% through Carney's book I'm at a subheading entitled " A Social Contract for Inclusive Growth".
I guess I'm supposed to be a loyal subject and not question the King's representative??
We are supposed to join the EU in changing the entire planet's economy?
Canada and the EU.. Wow, heady stuff.

As far as Zelinsky's public ass chewing, it happens all the time, just not on camera.

Gloating over PPs fall doesn't really matter to me. He's just another federal politician trying to do anything to keep Eastern Canada happy. But Carney?? Doesn't take much to impress the sheeple.

That has been my assumption all along.
The usual interactions behind closed doors likely aren't nearly as polite and diplomatic as that meeting..

Since when has Carney said anything about farm policy?

And we already have supply management which goes far beyond EU policies in protecting dairy and poultry farmers.

And remember PP and CPC and the NFU all agree on supporting supply management!

Time will tell , he will
As far as SM , it’s definitely on a target list of republicans.

If we are going to trade with them it is inevitable.
They set policy, you adopt it or no quota.

Yeah sounds a lot like Trump! It's my way or you don't trade with us.

We will have more luck working with the EU and we have little choice at this point.

Again you don't know what you are talking about , quotas are gone in Europe since i think 2015 , land is being forced out of production , it all the endless regulations and inspections and red tape that are the problem in Europe , certainly don't want more of that coming here
