How much of this crash, and the previous run up in Tesla stock was investors wrongly thinking that musk was getting involved in government finances to enrich himself and his companies.

As opposed to the reality that he's actually doing this out of altruism even knowing it will cause him great personal expense and that he will face public retribution.
