All governments defeat themselves. Case in point Harper.

Parties make themselves irrelevant with poor leadership. Case in point Kim Campbell and Jimmy Daliwhal.

Or do entitled, spoiled, lazy, uninformed voters have unreasonable expectations that the government will actually solve all of their self inflicted problems?
After one or two terms of government not solving any of their problems, they give up already and pin their hopes on the other team?

Ab5 you got that backasswards. I would say those that don't vote are the ones to lazy to get informed and go to the voting station.

As for being entitled to vote, that's what we all have as Canadians.

Not surprising your arrogance has convinced you that when you cast your vote at ballot box, it's the most earned and informed one.

Forage, is it reading or comprehension that you are struggling with?

            Try reading it again.

Since Forage doesn't comprehend what I am referring to, here is Thomas Sowell wording it much more eloquently than I did.

“The fact that so many successful politicians are such shameless liars is not only a reflection on them, it is also a reflection on us. When the people want the impossible, only liars can satisfy them, and only in the short run.” — Thomas Sowell

                Thinking of the post title.
Although times have changed and we aren't as reserved as we once were. Can't think of a PM that would have sold as many F flags across the country as the current one.
Looks like I'll be having to change mine by spring.
