Poilievre as of Age 65 will get $230K per year. And that doesn't include any extra for his one term as Prime Minister!

Poilievre is a career politician who hasn't had a real job.

After his simpleton slogans what does he offer other than he is not Trudeau?

He has been living off taxpayers for 20 years. Much more than Trudeau.

And then he gets the gold plated pension while he preaches austerity and feigns concern about those who can't pay the rent or for groceries! Priceless!

            Axe the gold plated pension!

Mostly agree with you on that one Chuck.

The ones that bother me more are the many that go there and do nothing but bob their heads for 6 yrs and retire with an executive type indexed pension they can live off .

                  So a political pension bad.
                  But a union pension good.
And a govt employee union pension better.
Why don't we agree that if your private trust fund earnings exceed a certain amount your pension clawed back?

That is the most conservative thing you have ever posted. I doubt anyone on this forum would disagree with that.

Do you think there is popular support for your proposition amongst Liberal and NDP MP's?

Pension is not indexed. Not a defined benefit plan anymore.

The old plan was and I believe Harper changed it. Ralph Goodale gets a Pension of $165k plus he gets to double dip drawing an ambassador salary.
