Who can make sense of these power plays on all sides?
One side taunts the other until there is retaliation. It is sad that we can’t have world peace, it seems because both sides are like Aggy, full of hate spewing so vehemently that they would sacrifice their young. (As if this is something new.) Those tightly associated countries changed hands so many times in the past. I am told by some Ukrainians that they don’t think it’s a bad idea joining Russia because consolidation brings efficiencies and Ukrainian bureaucracy should be scrutinized. There may come a day when we are threatened that some of Canada will want to join the U.S. who knows? Hopefully there will be negotiation.

thats part of the problem you said you were told by some Ukrainians first of all which ones ones that have family in Russia? some that were bought off by Russia? on a daily basis people on this forum say Alberta should seperate that Quebec should leave so do we go by what a few people say? no the fact is the fact that land is Ukraine if you dont like Ukraine then move out to Russia. Maybe ask the other Ukrainians who would rather die than live under the rotten control of the murder Putin.

You don't have to have Ukranian ancestors to understand Putin. Those that say Ukraine should join Russia, need to go there.
