should that not be 100% the case?

I find it hard to believe when you see the rates paid by consumers in the rest of the countries where solar and wind are touted to be the saviour. In fact most pay the highest rates in the world
So if the power rates are going to be so much cheaper as we go forward. Does that not mean that the payback period for renewables to reach breakeven which is already horrible, gets even longer?

So Chuck after all the propaganda you spewed here , are electricity costs to the consumers going to be less or significantly more like NY and all the countries in the world with the most “green” power generation and the highest consumer electricity rates ??

For sure they have a crusader running the renewable energy division.

I hope wind power will dry out the ground under this lodged crop.

For the rest of my energy needs, I will gladly depend on fossil fuels - and be happy that we were endowed with the bounty of dependable, compact, available energy at our beckoning call.

So Sask Power and other utilities don't and can't do a Levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) calculation over the lifetime of their generation assets?

Face the facts from Sask Power!

In Alberta where for better or worse our generation sources are privately owned and we have the Alberta Electric Systems Operator. The AESO has on its site the Supply and demand page which gives up to the minute electrical production from every commercial generation source in Alberta(doesn’t report roof top solar production) and total provincial demand. I would be very interested if any other province in Canada has such information available. And if not, why?
