    So electricity from renewables like hydro, solar and wind are worthless? LOL

    What is worthless are ill informed opinions from climate change deniers and flat earthers who don't have a clue!

    Every province in the country has a plan to reduce carbon emissions one way or the other including Alberta and Saskatchewan. They both have a carbon tax on large emitters.

    Why are they both talking up nuclear as a way of reducing emissions? And also installing more renewables. Just like Ontario!

        But what fun would that be?

        Much more entertaining to encourage him/her into meltdown mode, when he/she reveals his/her gross ignorance and actual agenda. Every single time.

          [QUOTE=chuckChuck;n799521]

          In the push to reduce greenhouse gases from fossil fuels it is not just renewables vs fossil fuels and other sources. It will be all sources working together.

          What happens when leadership in the rich countries that are financing the whole thing shift policy?

          Trump says;

          "Green New Scam, it's a scam"

          "And all of the trillions of dollars that are sitting there not yet spent, we will redirect that money for important projects like roads, bridges, dams, and we will not allow it to be spent on meaningless green new scam ideas"

          Taxpayers are seeing what the costs truly are and know they don't have enough money to "save" by investing in EV's and renewables.

            That's easy. The private sector will invest in any renewable projects that are financially viable.
            In a high interest rate
            environment.
            With all the costs up front.
            With a payback time that often exceeds the useful life.
            At the same time that the constraints on developing reliable energy will be removed, lowering f their costs.
            At the same time that the artificial costs (CO2 taxes etc) are removed from reliable energy.
            While the mandates and subsidies will disappear.
            During a trade war with the country making all of the solar panels, batteries , electronic components and material processing.

              Speaking of living in a vacuum! That applies to most of the far right extremist "thinkin" on Agrisilly.

              How are you enjoying the smoke and heat out there in La La Land?

              More CO2, heat and smoke will be good for us no doubt!

                    Very well said.
                    In June carbon tax on natural gas in Alberta $4.10 a gigajoule. Cost of natural gas $1.39 a gigajoule. The tax almost 3 times the value of the reliable energy.
                    Not a Trump fan but he will make green heads explode.
                    China is the only beneficiary of this government directed so called energy transition.
