People should all be respected, no special status. Jobs should be awarded on merit - the best prepared for the job should get it. Hate to admit it but I’d like to see a pride parade to see what makes them proud. We have parades all the time and get our floats all decked out. Kinda curious, gotta admit.

    Special treatment? Huh?

They are still facing discrimination, inequality and hate from many quarters.

Pride is a response to all the negativity that says they are here and they are not going anywhere.

Yeah, some of it's over the top and an overstated, that I don't understand, but the origin of pride was originally a protest movement. And that is still a large part of the pride parades.

Their will never be real acceptance until they stop shoving their agenda down our throats , all they have to do is participate in life without the symbols being on display everywhere ,They are just looking for special treatment , and why shud they get special treatment more than anybody else ? why shud they stand out more than anybody else ?

I have no problem whatsoever with the LGBQT+ community but why can’t they be happy with one day to celebrate like Mothers get for all they contribute? Or Veterans with all they sacrifice? Those groups get one day. Why does the abc crowd get a month?

I am so glad to see that you are all suddenly so supportive of the LGBQT+ community.

Quite the turn around after all the complaining about Pride celebrations, trans people, grooming and all the negative comments about gender identity that are found on Agrisilly!

You have finally agreed they are equal and deserve all the same privileges and rights of everyone else! Bonus!

They just have to clean up the overly sexualized dancing and carrying on, and all is well?

As if heterosexuals never do dirty dancing or dress in revealing clothes or openly display sexuality?

It must be be comforting to live in your squeaky clean imaginary sex free worlds.
