So the oil companies in Alberta didn't make record profits and receive the largest share of subsidies?

Its ironic that you pretend free marketers continue to support the OPEC oil cartel manipulating prices that continually transfer massive wealth from consumers to oil producers including the ones in Canada.

And you also say nothing about the massive government subsidies to the same oil companies? Nor admit that there is a massive cleanup liability that the oil companies don't want to pay for. Danny Smith has a plan to let taxpayers foot the bill.

The hypocrisy and sewage runs deep in some quarters!

[QUOTE=chuckChuck;n793084]But then you completely dismiss the inflation caused by rising market prices for oil? Huh?

The carbon tax is very small compared to the subsidies and wealth transfer to the petro elites in the world!

You mean the Middle East Oil Elites that Eastern Canada is shoveling barrel fulls of money at or maybe the Venezuelan Drug Lords or the Russian Ollie’s? They hate Western Canada as in Alberta and Saskatchewan so much the Eastern Despots would rather support the worst in the world.

But then you completely dismiss that you don't have a clue how percentages work?

I suspect Jagger Singh has probably seen the light. He likely has been lectured about the,”real” damage; the actual cost of the tortuous tax with tax on it that is piled onto every consumer purchase again and again and again. People aren’t all stupid. They call BS to Tombe and his .6%. Stuff it Chuck, you are dead wrong and you only need to read the comments from real people in National Post to realize that 80%(at least) call BS.
