And this is what makes it so much fun prompting him to expose his own ignorance, immaturity, hypocrisy, and zealous ideologies. And he takes the bait nearly every time.
He literally thinks he has been sent by god ( or the NFU), to preach his infinite wisdom to us dumb bumpkin farmers. And that we are just not smart enough to appreciate his brilliance.
He actually bragged publicly about joining "a few lesser informed arenas", to push the NFU message.
Then, in every post he ends up exposing himself and his organization as the lesser informed. With the inevitable resulting temper tantrum, name calling and insults.
Just imagine how humiliating it must be, to know that he is the smartest guy in the room, on a mission to prove his brilliance and spread the gospel, only to be relegated to the children's forum as a result of his childish behaviour. Anyone else with a shred of dignity or self respect would slink off into the abyss in shame. But not Chuck, he just doubles down on the very same behaviour.

The CBC article still declares the project a success.
14.6 million to set it up. Plus unknown maintenance costs along the way. Plus every home had the cost of a natural gas backup heating system. It was only providing 90%, so they were natural gas costs above and beyond.
There would be large electricity costs as there is with any heat pump type system such as this.
But just using the 14.6 million initial price tag, over 18 years and 52 homes works out to almost $16,000 per year per home not counting in all of the gas and electricity and maintenance costs.
And that is considered to be a success. What would a failure cost?

So gas plants, coal plants, gas furnaces never have to be fixed or rebuilt? Its only renewables that wear out or need to be upgraded?

Must to be good to live in the climate change deniers world where nothing goes wrong with heavily subsidized fossil fuels that off load much of their negative effects onto the environment, taxpayers and human health!
