We all need to take a moment of our time today to remember those brave individuals who fought for this great country Canada.
Heard an interesting fact this week about our great neighbors to the south of us. Nearly 9,000 Americans enlisted into the Royal Canadian Air Force to fight for Canada before the U.S. had officially entered the Second World War.
850 never made it home
Really interesting !
never knew about the US soldiers with Canada
"canadians well they had common sense darn yanks escape committees tunnels alsorts of dumb escape contraptions give me the maple leaf any day, and ya know we lived on weak cabbage and potato soup and rye bread" "all the yanks smoked not the smartest thing to be digging a tunnel and smoking on the that diet" he hard sharp humour.
Another they were on "the long march" "we came across a recently mortared donkey or horse by side of the road, fresh meat we gorged out selfs not the smartest thing shit outselves for about a week body couldnt handle protien and or food poisining" tough men. Google "run up the road tychowo"
