We have a daughter that lives in Calgary so i check the temperature there often. Can hardly believe we live in the same country! It can be -20 here and I check Calgary and it’s +10-16.
Kind of envious.
Clearing land here and it’s so hard to find time to work on it in the short summer season.
Being able to go out in February is just a dream with the ground froze solid and covered with snow.Comment

There is of course slightly more to the story
We are using the disc to level topsoil which we just finished spreading. It had been stockpiled since earlier this winter while we did some landscaping. It was so dry this fall there wasn't enough moisture to even freeze the topsoil, at least in this exact spot. Most everywhere else is frozen solid and still has a skiff of snow on it. I can still strip topsoil without much ripping required.
10 above this afternoon. This morning there was a crust of frost on a lot of it.
Had the tractor going anyways, figured we should go do some field work just to say that we did on February 7th.Comment

If we disced any field bare as that this time of year the fence line would be buried and camels gone by May first.Comment
