I really wish we could stop arguing over the vaccine. It denies us of a frank discussion about the far more dangerous matter of populist pandemic politics.
Fear led to policies more harmful than the virus or any vaccine. Can't anyone admit to this?

Follow the conspiracy theories . They are used to generate clicks and the weak minded are perfect dupes to help. Pray on people's fears and distrust of authority. Discussions of handling of future pandemics is useful, but irrational fear mongering does a disservice to any future measures to cope with emergencies.

I haven't read it. Can you provide the cliff's notes version?

True. I feel we need to recognize that the government both used and fell victim to the same fear.
                Distrust has always been around.
                It was grossly mismanaged.

There are two types of government.
Democratic and authoritative. Not sure which came through covid better. Our Charter of Rights and Freedoms was sorely abused however.

Only half done reading the 116 page report. So far it recognizes the harm done to society and some of its members by the government during.
Attempts to clarify the decision process while acknowledging the charter.

No one going to "win" a vaccine argument. It is completely pointless.
Firm entrenchment on both sides began with the first dictate. Most people have moved on and don't care who took what.

A bit of a chicken and egg situation. Or a forest and trees. The vac just one of many nails. I'm focusing on the hammer.

There is no argument over whether vaccines are necessary or whether certain sanitary and isolation measures are necessary. The only disagreement is the quantity and quality of these measures. If anyone wants to stop the use of vaccines ,please speak up.

How can ANYONE suggest we never QUESTION authority? That is so telling. The planet was suckered, examples everywhere.

I did not hear anyone say that.
