        Timing was a big deal. But I would suggest that even more important is what currency you used to buy the Bitcoin with. If an investor was trying to get out of their Argentinian, paraguayan Rwandan Zimbabwean etc currency, which were or are in the process of collapse amid hyperinflation, and bought Bitcoin with it, then they did quite well, regardless of timing. Comparing it to the US dollar is quite irrelevant to much of the wider world.
