As a rule you don’t respond but I will ask the question anyway. Lots of articles online referencing Irish farmers being force to cull up to 1 million cows or just under 20% of their herds to meet C02 reduction goals. Now as pointed out above Brazil is going to increase its cattle herd and if history is our teacher this will also result in more deforestation in Brazil. What will be the net benefit to moving meat production from Europe to Brazil? Does it produce less C02 if you harvest the meat in Brazil and ship it to Europe? Is this the same as Alberta shutting down our coal electricity while China continues to expand theirs? Does coal in China not produce C02? Does science only apply in certain countries?
