Huh? So you are advocating civil war? Why not just wait for the next election? LOL

Some of Agrisilly sheep can't tell the difference between a parliamentary democracy with regular elections and a communist or fascist state like North Korea or Russia.

Stop right there. Your previous post was decent and not looking to cause a kerfuffle. This is though.

Explain. Because advocating for civil war in a democracy because you don't like the current government should never go unchallenged.

Quit trying to make mountains out of molehills to start a fight. To say this is advocating for a civil war is like Putin justifying his invasion of Ukraine is because of the gay Jewish Nazis. Be better!

Civil war or communism, I’ll choose civil war every time.

Which country do you live in?

Is it "socialist" petro state Alberta where the government gives handouts to the oil companies to clean up existing wells they own and can pay for themselves with their record profits?

Well when the oil companies can stop giving a $20B handout to Quebec every year then we can talk about it.

But until then I see no problem

Maybe smith can claw back some of our black hole donations to Quebec by spending more in the province. Funny how that well program exactly matches AB equalization payout. Hmmm.

How about our 30.9 billion (and probably climbing) cost to finish our 6 billion dollar trans mountain pipeline . 500% over budget. There is where there should be an inquiry.

Oil companies give a $20 billion dollar handout to Quebec? Wholly crap you don't know anything!

That pretty much sums up Jazz's knowledge of most subjects. LOL

Equalization is a federal program paid for by federal taxes collected in all provinces not just Alberta. Alberta does not pay anything to any other province.

Alberta does pay a lot of federal taxes at the same rate as every other Canadian or corporation only because they have the highest wages and highest per capita GDP in the country because the oil industry is super profitable and very large in Alberta. It sucks to be rich and well off and pay a lot of taxes. Poor Alberta!

Alberta has the largest per capita fiscal capacity. Manitoba, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, and Ontario will all receive equalization in 2023 because their fiscal capacity is lower than Alberta's, Saskatchewan, BC, and Newfoundland. All provinces endowed with significant oil reserves and other profitable resources.

"Equalization ensures that provincial governments have sufficient revenues to provide reasonably comparable levels of public services at reasonably comparable levels of taxation".

Crypto Polly is not running on ending the equalization program. He may tweek it like Harpo did, but he will never get rid of it.

But don't let that stop you from spreading lies and misinformation about a federal program that is not based on Alberta paying other provinces!
