Especially from the faux libertarians who want to shut down everyone who disagrees with them. And the self admitted troll who criticizes me for being a troll. All very funny.

And the fact that one of more prolific antivaxers was also a genuine flat earther.

That pretty well sums up why I spend most of my time laughing.

But I really could care less what you or anyone else think about me.

Most of it is by people who don't have good arguments they can defend. So they resort to personal attacks.

My big sign of a weak defence is bringing up appearances though. When somebody does that…. Gee whiz, do they obviously have good priorities. I guess people can’t be smart or helpful or effective unless they also look appealing.

I was going to post the same thing. Anyone I know who identifies as a socialist or communist is quite proud of that. It's not an insult to label someone according to their political affiliations.
Is it an insult to call a business person a capitalist?
Of course, Chuck seems to think that calling someone a libertarian is an insult.
It seems to be a very serious case of cognitive dissonance, when someone can belong to the NDP party, support the CWB, espouse socialist viewpoints on a public forum, and then consider the label to be an insult.
