in any other reality , if someone abused a program (i.e. equalization) and collected every year since inception (quebec) would not questions be asked, audits??

It's not about the cost to Alberta. It's about how much more it would cost the rest of the country if they lose the largest(?) contributor to the RCMP.

A provincial police force was thought to be purely symbolic but with what Trudeau is doing it seems like a great strategy now. He can ban guns but he cant take away what people already have without enforcement.

Again equalization is a federal program paid for by federal taxes collected all across Canada and there is no transfers directly from from Alberta to other provinces. So you can stop the lie.
