What do you miss and need when living on a farm?

I miss the sense of community that used to be in our area. We aren't a 'farming community' anymore, but a mosaic of acreage and agriculture. Most of the families that have chosen to locate on acreages in this area drive in to town for their family's recreation activities, so the little communities are going by the wayside.
