We are considering the use of a Para-till deep ripper on some land to break the hardpan down to 12". Has anyone used one of these? We have a 260hp 4wd, and are planning to use the 6 shank model. I've heard rumors of power consumption between 30 and 50hp per shank. Is this enough tractor, and how hard is it on the tractor (ie. lugging, etc)? How fast can we expect to travel?
