    We have worked through the rethrasher issues... the tube issue solved... and top shoe adjustable at rear helps too.

    On the 2012 we just installed a heavier rethrasher slip clutch (2015 upgrade) and 60h sprockets and chain (2013 upgrade) on drive... with stripper kit inside rethrasher(update that can be ordered).

    In Canola our 2009 9870 does close to the same as the S680... no rethrasher is nice... but smaller shoe.

        For $250,000 less per unit...I have talked to guys that WANT 9870 back.

            Never ever would I go back to a 9870s. Sorry no even close to the same.
