          My neighbors claim the sprayer is the most important machine on their farm. They have 3 of them, working pretty steady all year. Their crops look exceptional all year long.

            Grain this year was good. But after seeing what is still living in the trash from 2014 crop a person can not let down their guard.Think a very good seed treatment helped. .Need more custom sprayer in our area that do not have their own to do first. I Agree sprayer is the most important part of a farm now.

              The most effective factor you can control is fungicide head application timing.
              You can scoff at high clearance sprayers and chem company's pushing their product but around here Prosaro or Carumba are game changers.

              After that, variety.

              You can burn, till, notill, whatever. I don't think it makes any difference.
