So, why didn't I see fat kids in Europe? They're all chefs and don't watch tv?

wedino, A few copied from reg bodies:

1.BioSuisse (for entering Europe)"manures must be processed by, for example, composting in heaps, slurry aeration."

        2. NOP:
        http://www.ioia.net/images/pdf/NOP5006ProcessedManure7-16-07.pdf

3.OCIA: Regulatory standard states; "...producer must apply plant and animal materials in ways that do not contaminate crops, soil, and water' and it also says....."sewage sludge (aka biosolids) are strictly prohibited"....

A number of e coli outbreaks have been traced back to organic farms. Because it says organic doesn't mean it's safe.

Dyinmg id dying, wedino. Bad management is just that, and it is a different issue. Restaurants undergo inspection, but people still die from eating in restaurants.

Chemicals have rules for application, but farmers still die from breathing them in. That's not the chemical companies' fault. It's a management issue as far as I am concerned.

There is policy, regulation, rules in place for fertilizer application in organic.
