Finished swathing green peas east of Saskatoon.
Now waging war on ducks and a few geese.
Where are the boys from Cudworth when you need them?

Done the peas 10 days ago and now 3/4 way done lentils but slow progress - large greens and the cool damp summer kept putting more and more growth on so they didn't die easily when dessicated. The seed is dry but the stem is very green at cutting level. Have seen bigger yields with half the plant material.

Did you use high test low surfactant glyphosate by any chance? We are desicating peas yesterday and will done today. They are maturing much fast than anticipated so should be swathing in a couple or few days. They don't look as good from the sprayer any more but should still be OK.

mustard be carefull with those peas and lentils when its time to market. You wouldnt want to get any less then the neighbor. It would make it a tough winter in your coffee shop. Those evil open market forces are at work all around you. Maybe it would be safer for you to stick with durum, then your guaranteed your sot after mediocrity and that mystical premium you pine for.

Hopperbin, I used reglone at .66 litres per acre and 18 gpa US water. Just too thick too get down to base of plant. Maybe I should have used over 20 gpa

Highwayman you sound a little paranoid today. This weed that's around now is not the mexican variety you smoked when you were young so be careful
