Snapper also explain why you get so pst when I challenge the Fert Chem and Seed companies. Why do you believe we should over pay for inputs. So I might be wrong with exact tons this time big deal. Why are you pst about fert if your not connected to the industry. WHY SNAPPER WHY?

"Now if its 800 or 8000 does it really matter if its way down".

You are unbelievable you get caught in lie and still try to defend yourself!!!

Crediable facts are needed on this forum not just numbers blurted out to impress everyone.

"Yeah I paid $400/ton for my 46..... Or maybe it was $485.....not sure though, I know it was a good deal". Tomato or Tommato right SF3.

You sure you don't work for the CWB??

You sound like you do buisiness like a old fool!!

You go buy all your 46 now, and borrow to build bins and buy your Fert needs for 2010. Oh that's right this is SF3 he doesn't borrow for bins or product. He has all his Fert bought for 09, and has a seperate row of bins for the year ahead of the year ahead!! And he wouldn't borrow money. Even though he said he paid $9000.00 tax on 9000 acres. and lost $1,000,000.00 from 02 frost, 03 drought, and 04 frost again...Bla,Bla, Bla!!!

Me the young farmer, will take $20,000.00 and buy 2010 Natural Gas options, or buy shares in these companies. Oh wait I did this!! But you go spend $250,000.00 on bins and Fert right now....Fill your boots buddy!!

Have a good trip down in Mexico...... or the Spa in Moose Jaw? So I've not sure which they'll both have a pool right!!

That's why you need your facts straight, or you lose all credability!!

Mabye I need a holiday. Am I the only one on here that can't stand this BS???

Well, they are entertaining. Seems this started as a thread on fertilizer pricing. Only element missing here is someone turning it into a CWB debate.

Two elements missing. Cotton isn't screaming and swearing at me telling me I don't know what the hell I am doing.

I and others in my area are without a guaranteed anhydrous price or delivery and I think 55 cents per pound of actual N is too high for delivery only. The manufacturers should know what they can price at so what are they up to? Was just hoping to enlighten others of my thinking that some how demonstrations could give us farmers something like realistic pricing.
I am also going to Mexico to relax.

sooo, would buiding our own fertilizer plant as discussed in the topic
what to do whith with the railroaded overpayments? would be a good idea.

We produce at cost, we sell at cost, we own the plant. Ande we use the 69 million, now given to WGRF as capital to begin.

fert prices are climbing here, $120-140/tn more than the low just before Christmass.

This site is way better when everyones freaking out on each other.

A horribly cold winter plus a collapse in grain prices= a bunch of emotionally unstable farmers

Good job Furrow on your fertilizer call, you nailed it,and posted it when you did it,which is the important part.
