Got to fix the food system to fix health care. Until then with more toxic ingredients being added, It will get worse. Have to really hunt to find pickles that don’t have polysorbate 80.

Yeah a demand within a market will cause an increase in prices, that’s how capitalism works, and healthcare is a market whether you think it should be or not. The idea that privatization causes more increases in prices than public is silly. Private you just know what you’re paying while public you can stay blissfully ignorant.

Basically you get a 25% rebate from tax dept on health care insurance govt offers it as encouragement to get of public system a sliding scale with age.

Public System is called Medicare there is medicare private as well a govt run private insurer so many options from various companies.

Just to get MRI in public system next available appointment was feb 27 and wait for operation a wild guess late 27 even 28 in public.

Private health started in 1950s here became widely used in 1970s and govt own private health started in 71.

Really nothing new ive been in since I was 18 at the lowest tier to cover my rough and tumble lifestyle motorbikes rock climbing body contact sports etc etc.

Not sure why every topic on Agriville gets compared with USA. Canadian guy I chased tornados with in 2025 im sure he said his private health cover base family plan was $275 a month.

Because, while some members are vehemently Anti American, they are no better than Americans themselves in as much as the world ends at the US border. There is no rest of the world worth knowing about, just the USA.

Maximizing profit and Maximizing healthcare are not always compatible. If you can find a private system that puts healthcare first you may have a solution.

Do you think public is maximizing health care?

Bit hard to explain but asked surgeon public v private he does both. Costs the same some sort of "capping" in what they can charge but he has to have his own indemnity insurance etc etc whereas when he a public surgeon govt cover that for him so he makes more out of public.

But facilities staff he prefers private and less layers of bureocaracy in private. Other little things if he wants to do surgery on a weekend to "catch up" in private he can.

Private, Doctor, phone consult with surgeon MRI ,visit Surgeon after MRI done. Public, doctor, specialist, lets see if we can avoid surgery the wait is long Physio medication, ultra sound, no good huh MRI then surgeon then yup we will put you on the list.

here it is in a nutshell
                      • Increased Joint Pressure: As fluid builds up inside the tight space of an arthritic joint (like a spinal facet joint or the knee), the internal pressure rises.
                      • Bulging and Leaking: Under high pressure, the joint capsule or its lining weakens, bulges out, or develops a small tear, allowing the excess fluid to leak or herniate into the surrounding tissue or spinal canal. This creates the fluid-filled sac known as a synovial cyst.
                      • Ongoing Flare-Ups: Whenever arthritis flares up, inflammation increases, more fluid is generated, and an existing cyst can swell, press harder on nearby nerves or blood vessels, and cause worsening pain, stiffness, or numbness.
Explains the numbness in my left foot left but tock sound like Forrest Gump lol, and shooting pains down left leg.

Told me lose weight done 115 to 90 might even be 88/9 80 is target given up all alcohol basically had one beer with son a month ago have another at xmas and cut sugar out mostly a treat once a week usually. Get me sugar from fruit nowadays rather than red wine or soda. Another thing ive almost cut is bread twice a week only.

Weight loss the idea was take pressure of knees hips spine etc.

Funny ya stomach actually shrinks started October 25 feel full on less thats the key. Who know might try some fancy pants zero carb beers probably taste like shite.

Enough balderdash from me thanks commenting all and in a nice way even if ya disagree so nice on this side
