Today WTI 95.00/b all becuase of Epstein's buddy in the White House.

Pretty sure a post was made that supposedly Trump's Iranian war has added a 20% to our bottom line, hard to digest that one based on the current weather that has screwed up yields and quality and keeps pushing that finish line further and further away everyday. .

Really hard to believe how little is posted on Agriville on what Trump's war has done to the current Fuel and Fert prices , Saving Face?

    .
Saving face lol , that’s what you got out of that ?
Yes the Iran conflict is a major factor and Trump stepped in a bee hive that they can’t contain .
Definitely not good for any industry that relies on fuel or fertilizer.
But that has zero to do with crop insurance, hail insurance or current crop conditions
Start your own thread to bash Trump , I may even join and agree . Don’t be a chuck simply looking for a fight dragging Trump into every single post

      "extra field work from ruts"

$95.00/b WTI doesn't get used on the ruts? Your map shows there's going to be alot of them

Funny how forage never mentions the ill fated Trump accelerated war against Russia, and how that blundering catastrophe has benefitted the prices of commodities actual farmers produce. Doesn't even mention what party was in power when they started the war against Russia. Or when they started the civil war against Ukraines own citizens. Or Canada's outsized role in promoting and prolonging the disaster.

Perplexed on this Forage. This thread is “Friday Crop report on a Thursday, first week of September”, not as an example “Wow my fuel costs just went up thanks to Trump”.

Now there is certainly no doubt in hindsight that I would have benefitted from having triple the diesel storage I do and that I would have filled it at the right time. I have a neighbour, has the storage, was thinking of filling it at $1.32 a litre, he didn’t unfortunately. He is not cheerful now.

As for politics, in my opinion both Trump and Carney are costing us money. Carney’s free spending ways will certainly cost my children and grandchildren. Trump is no different for the U.S.A. Adding to the debt with no tangible benefit. Trump is certainly costing the whole world far more and appears to be losing touch with reality. Regardless this is a thread on fall harvest and crop conditions not Trump.

Back on topic. We escaped the worst of this rain. 1.35 so far, with showers forecast for the rest of the forecast. Didn't even make a dent in the size of the cracks after a record dry July and August.

Have some barley that might be close to ready, wheat not too far behind. Canola still very green, still some patches of flowers.

Frost forecast for this weekend. Not been a great canola year. Too dry to germinate. 10 inches of rain in June drowned out huge areas. No rain after that. hail at the end of August, now frost on a very delayed crop.
