Friday crop report on a Thursday the last full week of June.

Everything has had a good drink and we are ready for a week of heat but we know that as soon as it heats up, pow another set of storms brews by the weekend. I see the weather man has taken out the rain all tonight which is OK.

We can’t say its a boring summer.

We are at 4 inches since supper time last night. Water pooled up and running.
Everything looked good yesterday but it’s changing rapidly. Wife’s garden is flooded. This gets disappointing!

Who on here is from central Manitoba? Radar right now looks like Brandon and a big surrounding area is getting 100+mm/hour. And I am guessing that is on top of additional big rain events over the last week or two.

4 must be the magic number cus tha'ts what we got last night . Went to pick up daughter from work and water was running over hiway 16 east of Neepawa never seen that before. They closed the hiway after that . Lots of crop under water now.

Still unsettled for sure. I drove from Killarney out to Fort QuAppelle SK yesterday. The Assiniboine River was already at serious flood stage. The water in fields had sloughs brimming from Moosomin to Wolsley.
