We have been through this multiple times before.

He assembled what appeared to be a competent team of outsiders. As opposed to the permanent mono party hacks who surrounded him the first time around. They said all the right things. If any of them were actually genuine, Trump certainly doesn't listen to them.

For a very brief period it looked like the US might be heading in the direction of fiscal responsibility and no more endless wars.

As we know now, democracy is a facade. Doesn't matter who the voters vote for, whoever is actually in power will get their way one way or the other.

They are all crooks. Not sure how old u are but I’ve been around long enuf to know none of them have our best interests at heart. U vote for the candidate that tells u the things u like to hear. Then they do some of them and the rest of the time they do what they want. Comes down to who u can tolerate. I don’t know one politician that leaves with less money in his/her/its pocket than they went in with. Knowing and seeing what I see now I still support the idiot in charge down there because the other idiots policy’s were wayyyyyy stupider.
