Looks like it is pretty general as most of Kansas is expecting highs in the mid 40's today and it was still freezing at 10 am their time this morning.

I have traveled that corridor from Texas to Winnipeg in April before this year it was more advanced because of the warm march. Damage will be Savior enough. But what will they plow it down and seed my bet soybeans.

          Just a guess.

Also the USDA like to tell a certain story to the world that suits their farmers not any one else.

Holy Smoky i cant wait for the markets to open.

I hate to profit of others misfortunes but i think this is it.

How many of these guys have forward sold and now are going to have to cover.

I wonder what the "number of days supply of grain will fall to".

Am i ever kicking myself for not having 24 hour trading.

                Cotton,

THis brings back memories of 1996.

Almost the same weather... same reaction... not a bad wheat crop when harvest rolled around!

Have a look back... to see the future!

You mean when gold was 275 and all the fund money was flowing into the dot coms.

On a side note did you know the government of canada sold off all our gold reserves at about this time. The lowest possible price ever!

                    Hi Tom

I think the next two days in the market will present opportunities. After that, who knows! Was the crop as advanced in 96 as it is today?

Yea tom Ill challenge you on this one two. This years crop come out of winter in excellent conditions both weather wise and moisture. A healthy crop is growing in USA and its early.
Frost killed us in Canada with only one night of low temps not 5.I personally think it will be bad.
