Sad to see this forum going to shit again and all because of a few assholes. I wouldn't blame Saskfarmer if he just left. Nobody needs this crap. Always enjoyed his posts about Farming and Florida. Being sucsessful doesn't mean low lifes should piss all over you on this site. At least i can follow him on other sites

When the administrators finally had the good sense to give Chuck his own children's forum, I don't understand why his like button buddies permitted to keep their privileges of contaminating the adult forum. For behaving exactly the same childish way and posting the same off topic drivel.Last edited by AlbertaFarmer5; Jan 7, 2026, 09:36.

I’ve been retired for a yr now and still like to come on and see what’s happening, might even chime in the odd time.
I was thinking yesterday how this site has changed even in the last yr. It gets off topic so fast it becomes annoying reading. There will always be a couple in the crowd who love to stir the shite.
I don’t give a rats azz if Joe blow from Idaho spends 6 months in Florida or wherever, who cares.

So what does drink of the day have to do with marketing? Apply your standard to everyone or none. I really don't care what he posts but don't dis others for off topic posts.Originally posted by AlbertaFarmer5 View Post

The slow lefties should reread post number one on this thread, read it over a few times and read really slowly then you might understand that cocktail recipes are a small part of SASKFARMER’s post, as usual a bit of politics and lots of farming talk with a big splash of commodity marketing, I know the R word isn’t cool but stop being an R…

See some get it. I use Ag I live Ag and I understand Ag. The cocktail is just a hook. The left tries to destroy everything if it doesn’t fit their narrative.

Drink of the day? You must be referring to forage and his day drinking turning into drunk posting problem?Originally posted by agstar77 View Post

So far in this thread you haven't posted anything relevant to marketing or agriculture. Sf3's first post had 787 words about ag, and only 140 about drink.
I stand by what I said.

When I saw this, I couldn't help but think of my interactions with a couple of our infamously thin skinned posters.Originally posted by AlbertaFarmer5 View Post
I know you will never take my advice.
But after reading through that expletive filled drunk posting, you might really want to reconsider your ambitions of being a social media influencer.
As you were recently told, you might be a little too tightly wound. Too easily triggered. Too thin skinned. You take yourself far too seriously.
All of which contributes to making your reactions exceedingly amusing
Keep up the good work.

Quote won't work for me today. But I saw this today and remembered this discussion from January:
The latest IRS data makes one thing clear. The United States is undergoing a massive redistribution of wealth between states (https://nypost.com/2026/03/28/us-news/new-york-california-and-other-high-taxed-states-losing-billions-of-dollars-while-florida-and-others-prosper-from-mass-migration-irs/), and it is being driven almost entirely by tax policy. California lost $11.9 billion and New York lost $9.9 billion in income in a single year, while Florida gained $20.6 billion.
This is not random migration. This is capital responding to incentives. States like Florida, Texas, and Tennessee have positioned themselves as low-tax environments, and they are now absorbing wealth at an unprecedented pace. Florida alone has become the primary destination for high-income earners exiting high-tax jurisdictions.
What is important here is not just the scale but the composition. Higher-income individuals are disproportionately represented in these moves. In Florida’s Palm Beach County, incoming residents reported significantly higher average incomes than those leaving. This is not just population growth. This is the migration of wealth concentration.
States gaining population are also building housing and infrastructure to support that growth. Those losing population are constrained by regulation, cost, and policy inertia. That divergence is becoming more pronounced, and it is creating two very different economic paths within the same country.

What’s interesting is the political environment created by the states taking huge financial losses refuse to see it’s their policies creating the situation and in fact are doubling down on their own stupidity
Kinda like BC is doing now in Canada
