This is one of the theory's that is making the rounds that seems to be gaining traction.
Basically says the whole world has expected the USA to keep the straits open since Nixon.
The USA has not been using much gulf oil in some time.
It's the focus of regular war games and is studied in every military college.

Some of the replies below add to the discussion but you can scroll through a lot of rants and BS.

    Very little ranting about Epstien.

When did Iran get time to build thousands of missiles and10's of thousands of Drones while they were doing all that negotiating?

Since 2022, it sure looks like the US is at war against europe.
The US started wars against Europe's main supply of cheap oil and gas.

The US Blew up the pipeline that supplied them the cheap gas to make sure it's permanent.
Sanctioned all of the energy and raw materials Europe relied on for their industrial economy.
Now the US has cut off the next biggest source of energy to Europe.

Too bad cheap and reliable solar and wind energy turned out to be a complete myth.

The US wins with their energy Independence and exportable LNG. China and India win with their access to cheap sanctioned energy. Russia and Iran win with high energy prices.

Yeah Biden made the U.S. nrg independent while Trump is peeing it away nrg is flatlining under Trump. Electrical energy costs are soaring while Trump cancels renewable energy project just because he gets paid better by big oil. The problem for everyone is the collapse of manufacturing in Asia where many petroleum products are made and exported to the U.S. This will be a bigger supply chain problem than covid.

When it’s been a series of circumstances and decisions that were made by many way before him that have caused him to try and change the course of these poor decisions that no other leader on either side of the aisle would take on.
We as human beings can seem to find anyway way to phuck up any good thing and primarily due to greed. U can see it in your own backyard never mind on the world stage. I believe the leader of the FREE world has made some very good decisions in the past year. However, this second year has proved he’s a human being and it appears as though this last decision is a poor one. I for one believe this was not totally his decision. For us peasants how are we to know all the delicate intricacies of the things that go on behind closed doors. Easy for us to say what to do from the cheap seats. My view from the cheap seats tells me he’s been compromised by someone or something they have on him which led to this decision. I also believe the idiot in charge of our country has been compromised. Difference is his decisions only affect us not the whole world.
"choose to denegrate one man and make all the worlds and their problems his fault"

Maybe brush up on what power and authority was bestowed upon Trump as "Commander-in-Cheif" besides, according to Trump last June, "Operation Midnight Hammer" , had "obliterated" Iran's nuclear programme.

"My view from the cheap seats tells me he’s been compromised by someone or something they have on him which led to this decision"

Is the thing they have on Trump, which has compromise him, that Big File(Epstein) that was sitting on Pam Bondi"s desk before she got fired last week?

Like all us peasents, did you purchase all your farm inputs before Trump's Iranian War?

Being it Easter, I guess we could go all the way back to the beginning while we're playing the blame game and pin all the world problems on Eve.

                  Really not about Epstein????? Really

Did you pre-buy everything before Trump's war?
I see very few people if any that start a job with Trump that are allowed to finish it. At some point they stand up for themselves or they are used as a distraction to blame by Trump.

I still haven’t seen a connection between Netanyahu and Epstein and I still think Netanyahu was driving the Iranian attack bus.

Why your fascination with whether someone has purchased their inputs before the Iranian invasion? My buying patterns are very similar year to year. As an example I have always purchased fertilizer before year end. I think inflated fertilizer prices could continue into the fall of 2026, same with fuel.

Did you pre-buy your fertilizer and fuel Forage?

I expect the truth lies somewhere in between the two extremes of propaganda.
