          Actually never been so glad to do a fall job that works out
          ran our Gates coulter harrow on our hailed canola immediately after harvesting whatever we got.
          there was no canola seed on ground , all full pods , so ran the coulters in and harrows back with lots of pressure at 14 mph the cut and bust pods . Got fortunate to get some moisture and the past few very warm days
          got a pile of that canola to germinate now , Jack Frost will take a tremendous pressure off spring volunteers

            Happens here also miracle i got what i did on one 1 1/2 rain a few showers and no subsoil moisture.

              How does your crop manage that yield and not much more when you have normal rainfall? Manage that and farming would be easier.

                  Makar, how often does your area get bumper yields vs disasters?

                  I remember someone from the Peace country many years ago claiming they had disasters more often than not, but the years when the stars aligned more than made up for it.
