      Loans are exactly whats needed...

those guys who had good yields or can hold out for better prices wont utilize them.

Those who had poor yields wouldve needed a loan even if canola was still at 15$/ bushel.
a 0% interest loan is a hell of alot better to those who need it than a loan at prime.

Ad hoc payments will go to rents and land. The 2 things that effed us in the first place in 2022 when grain prices ran high.

The feds put tariffs on chinese evs.
      pierre agreed.
      Everyone agreed. Followed usa.

2 weeks ago...pierre peepee said he wouldnt take the ev tariff off.

We arrested meng hhuawei at the border at the request of the USA. So whos really effed us in our last tariff spats with china?

Ask usa farmers who are demanding and basically require the adhoc payments to survive how its going down there?

Vote in an idiot who demolishes their markets.... then whine about needing socialism.

take a loan out at 0 interest if you need it. If you dont.. leave it for those who do.

      Free money is for ****s.

If the price comes up to 15... do we have to give the money back?

most of us rely just on crops and political interference resulting in lower farm gate pricing is creating a nightmare you don’t grasp

All to protect fake EV industry that is what 1/100 the economic benefit to Canadians overall at best ? That creates zero wealth outside a few foreign jobs ?
so yes if Pierre agreed he was very wrong
they all agreed , sure , to protect eastern votes at our expense

Easy on that one, there's a long time poster on Agrivile who has bragged about having both oil and the cash advance in his farm tool box as revenue.

Good one him / her, just don’t tell others they don’t need a direct payment from a government that is responsible for meddling in our markets through tariffs and bad policy resulting in lost exports and a reduction in farm gate prices
Again every other industry got bail out for tariff nonsense, I don’t get the problem with Ag ?

Any thoughts on US corn getting dumped in feed lot alley and driving barley prices down to lower than cost of production?
railways have a 21% fuel surcharge. How does that help the bottom line. Rail is way more efficient than trucks at moving weight.

What about cdn durum going into USA? I think if we start pointing fingers at grain imports from USA we would start to limit flax, oats, canola oil, durum, chickpea shipments from Canada. Slippery slope.
