Canola yields 30 s here. Areas with higher yields are playing in the mud.

Areas south and west of wpg received 2 to 5 in rain last night. Harvest not going to be fun.

Yields are 30-60% higher than average here. Quite unreal to be honest considering the stand was average at best but when you fill 42-45 kernels per head and thick pods on the canola I guess thats the difference maker.

Down to last half section of canola. Then fall work.

Really considering hauling it all in now and screw the lineups all winter.

Big storms yesterday (rain and hail) around Regina dumped varying amounts on and around Regina, White City and surrounding areas. 1.25 inches to more than two inches to less than .5 inches will put a damper on harvest here. About half of the cereals and most of the lentils are in the bin. It’s been a slow-go this year as early-summer hail beat up crop and turned an awesome crop into a late unknown.

Agree same here, 4" of total rain made 100 plus barley, 72 wheat, 50 canola?

Same yields with DOUBLE the rain in 2023...

Also totally "F " def and emissions, two units lost the tank volume gauge senders....only $4000 in parts each! So certainly will DELETE this crap! It's cheaper than repairs!

Yields that defy expectations with the rain amounts I think have to do with timing, less disease with lower moisture, and zero till effects, I have often wondered why yields are not higher with better rain totals.
