Decent looking crops in my neighborhood some canola is patchy but some nice stuff too. Most wheat looks to be getting fungicide treatment but still need some more rain to fill out this crop. 4 inches of rain at my yard since mid May but up to an inch less a few miles away.

Canola in Southern MB and West central looks bad... Beans in the RRV valley are hit and miss but seem mostly miss.. looks like more cereals planted than I would have thought, but they all look really good... I heard 20k acres of hail damage in MB over last few days.

There is 40% of the canola in this area that will struggle to make 35 under the very best conditions possible going forward.
not dissing anyone but a sad reality of 4 week of no rain and wind and many other factors.
and that about the 200k circle of NB .
not a huge area but a perspective of what’s out there in general in 75% of the province my bet

Some beautiful looking canola crops on the outskirts of Regina. They have had some good weekly rains.

The bears are in the market today.
                Not just farm commodities.
