Middle of th rain event on Sunday July6th , weather network had 7mm for 7pm and 8mm for 8pm . Ended up with less than half a tenth. Equates to very little rain . Less than a heavy dew that can't be measured in a rain gauge.

Going old school looking towards the west hummm looks like its gonna rain later. Track record just about as good as any new weatherman showing people throwing frisbee's in the park.

Talked to an old no nonsense farmer the other day about weather forecasts, he said he liked the old Copenhagen cans with the metal top for that.
If the lid was shiny, no rain.
If the snuff is moving it’s windy.
Glove removal to open the can usually meant cold.
He said it couldn’t predict rain, said it was common.
