Liberals have always considered Military spending as a pork barrel to buy votes in Atlantic Canada, Quebec, and Ontario .
The Canadian Military is virtually non-existent in Western Canada.

If Canada spends an additional $150 Billion we could be considered a Military superpower right up there with the big dogs.
But expect it to disappear in bloated boondoggles and bureaucracy.

Carbon tax gets new name and cost increase will be huge to cover 5% of GDP. And since about 1/2 the pop pays little or no tax the one's remaining will have to divvy up big time.
