Was told yesterday if you have barley in the bin you can name your price. Checking rain gauges today. Two tenths in most of them. Two were blown over, ground is opening up.

Lots of yield potential getting blown away this afternoon. Crop fairly patchy with good areas mixed with stuff that has sat for 3 weeks now. Land quality being a major factor. Flirting with crop insurance guarantee levels now. Early wheat will be headed out by the end of next week. Looks like rain will finally show by the end of next week. Later seeded crops will do better. With all the inflation around why do grain prices still suck? I sold 2008 crop wheat for $9.20 per bu. and best bid this past season is $9 so far.

Hopefully NE Sask can get some moisture out of this system

No general rain this year yet. Had half inch a few weeks ago I figured must have been “general” for my farm but 7 miles away at one field it’s quite obvious it wasn’t , looks like it barely wet the ground there.

I seen that on radar. Was hoping it would push south. This province needs a good 3 day rain.

2/10" ...a start, it CAN rain, but 20% humidity and NO dew for weeks is horrible sign!
