Definitely they are patchy. Some guys have them worse than others due mainly to seeding date.
Overall crop is coming ok just need rain to start showing up and the wind to F off.
Spraying has been relegated to a few tanks at dark then wait til the next evening. Today is a better day once it warms up. Was 2 degrees last night

Friday Crop Report on a Thursday. First week of June.
Good morning it’s the first full week of June and guess what low temperatures on Wednesday morning and now minus one at 3:30 AM Thursday. Canola will probably be down hard today as speculators don’t care about scamming buyers and sellers. Canola is in trouble we have dry conditions from one end to the other. In northern Canada its dry and the big south rain a couple of weeks ago means nothing considering how bone dry underneath it is in that area. It looks like something’s coming for Rain but will it gets there. There is piss all in it, but I’m sure it’ll be excellent crop conditions from one end to the other when the crop reports come out.
So the new crop report seeding is 98% done. Early Wheat is being sprayed along with early peas. The peas are short this year so go check them because they’re at a further node than you think. Wild Oats is a copper and most Wheatfield and its weird patches here batches there not in the usual spot and then the rest of the field clean as a whistle. Let’s talk about the big factor this spring ****ing wind that again Saturday will be up to 60+ kilometres an hour. We need this like a ****ing hole in the head. So the only nice spray day looks like it’s today and then by tomorrow morning the wind will begin again. There is a slight chance of rain on Saturday, but yeah by don’t think much is gonna come out of it. There is a high pressure blocking in the states, pushing dry air north and giving from Texas to Chicago rain daily. Corn is not getting planted the market still doesn't want to give a shit. We got a bit of a bump, but it’s Wheat. So basically I get proper ratings are starting to downgrade it’s June May wasn’t that wet and the winds aren’t helping if this continues we’re gonna have really bad heels come fall the fires aren’t helping and northern Saskatchewan in Manitoba burning. Kearney and the first minister was a big joke. BC says no pipeline. Quebec says no pipeline. We got two ****ing provinces that are useless. CANADA you voted in elbows up he is useless. Is your slogan have a great day. Please tell us the crop conditions in your area and share it with us. Thank youLast edited by SASKFARMER; Jun 5, 2025, 19:53.Tags: None
