Every American grain company operating in Canada understands the value of an export sale report. It helps with planting decisions, info to the government for responsive programs, rail and transportation logistics , helps farmers make marketing decisions etc etc etc.

The lobby that says it isn't required are a bunch of retards that politicians listen to on both the conservative and liberal side.

It should have been brought in when the CWB was removed at the very least and more likely it should have been implemented when the USA put it in place.

Talk to some of your farm reps and see if they understand it.

The current chair of one of the check off funded farm groups didn't even know what export sales reporting was when he first ran to get on the board. Wet behind the ears and is using the position to favour his eventual political career. He won't rock the boat.

Meanwhile more and more Canadians are relying on food banks and having a hard time paying rent or buying a house.

So on their way out the door, the most corrupt government in Canadian history laundered billions of dollars through the most corrupt country in Europe.

            Nothing to see here.

But I'm sure they justified it by defending democracy. As they installed a new liberal leader without anyone voting for him. As they defend democracy in a country that no longer even has elections or a free media.

$3.7 Billion , here's how....a dictator need only GG in his pocket!

Governor General authorized $40,343,209,650 in spending, including $178,154,676 for CBC, as Parliament enters 94th day of suspension - 'Urgently required for the public good' – Canada is broken. Sell farmers out with EV bullshit, then gift CBC more money for public good. No push back except in social media and firms like Western Standard. Never have I been so disillusioned with this country as I am today. 40 billion dollars with no sitting Parliament. How is this different from a Communist State? Reading social media platforms last night has become an exercise in futility as Liberals have become no different than hard-core NDP – they won’t change their vote, even if Canada is being burned to the ground

I think for most farms, export sales reporting will not change the marketing plan at all. The timing of cash flow needs is pre-set by the landlord who wants his rent before the end of Nov, and the lenders, who want to be paid in Jan, Feb, and March, and the Landlord again in April. Not to mention other farm cash flow needs but those are the biggest ones for most farms. So from the time when the combine gets parked and we know our actual yields, until now in April, whether export sales are known or not, most farms simply can not hold on long enough to survive all the low fruit picking that goes on from August to April. Highest yearly prices most years is April 15 to July 15 timeframe. But all that said, I agree, we need export sales reporting.

Plenty of finger pointing at Ukraine, but not one mention of dictator Putin who started the war. No war no aid going over to fight the war, pretty easy to figure that one out.

Besides, if Harper was still PM before numb-nuts took over, the aid would have flow to Ukraine quicker and in larger amounts.

First it was the Nazi's, then Nato, and now we find out the turth behind Putin's invasion of Ukraine, raping Ukraine of it's rare earth minerals. More money for Putin and his Oligarchs

This has become so evidently blatant as the cause of the war as Trump and Putin barter over which one of them is entiled to claim Ukraine's rare earth minerals.

Unlike, "The Apprentice" this episode will not end within 24 hours as Trump had promised.

Forage, have you looked into the supposed rare Earth minerals in Ukraine?
Everything I have read seems to indicate this is a giant nothing burger.

They exist. In deposits and at concentrations that are not economical and for which the extraction processes do not even exist.
Here's an article on the topic which is user friendly, it is highly critical of trump.
