RB auctions in Shelbroke today will tell the tale on shiny newer equipment.
A lot of big newer equipment piling up on dealer lots .

I wonder how many people are considering not taking delivery on equipment they ordered in 2024 that is arriving at dealerships now

Everyone says that the used market will go up and chase the new market... as the new equipment market will scream higher with these tariffs...
but i firmly believe that farmers are going to buy at values that directly correlate to fall commodity prices. There were 2x 2022 4440 case sprayers today sold for 555 k.
i would venture those are atleast 200 k less than what a dealer would be asking.

Tractors arent at any sort of bargain tho ...

used market isnt going to go up... i think it will be stagnant or start to come down...
Especially with all the S series combines flooding the market... wait til new crop hard red drops under 8 bucks....

Soyoil down and Cdn dollar up, either canola is playing catch-up or canola needs to buy acres. Canola inventories will be tight this year if they can keep up the pace, Nov up also, so I’m thinking buying acres.

Maybe somebody bought a boat load of canola today, would be nice to know but no export sales reporting. Please, anybody, do u have a good reason why we shouldn’t have that info.
