The Agri-ville numbers are from the active posters (100). The people who scan the website are substantially higher - particularly during hot topics (BSE years for the beef section).

Don't know where the 14,000 comes from. Been here 8 years and never have seen that volume. The postings since day one have been on policy/CWB issues. Have tried to include more topics on marketing but in any open market (including Agri-ville participation), topics go where the demand is.

If the commodity marketing area were not needed, it would not be posted in. If people on both sides of the CWB issue did not see the need to express themselves, they wouldn't post.
